The story of Panificadora Mencer begins with a simple idea: to preserve the essence of traditional Galician cuisine while adapting it to the needs of today’s market.

We specialise in Galician empanadas, empanadillas (small turnovers) and traditional pastries, with products for both consumers and distributors, the hospitality sector, supermarkets, food service, institutional catering and other food industry professionals.

Galicia has one of the most renowned culinary traditions in Spain. Its empanadas, traditional doughs and pastries are part of a food heritage that has stayed alive thanks to generations of professionals who have passed down recipes, techniques and know-how.

Inspired by that legacy, Panificadora Mencer was founded to make products that respect this tradition while meeting today’s demands for food safety, production capacity, innovation and distribution.

Panificadora Mencer looks to the future without losing sight of what gives it purpose: Galician culinary tradition, respect for people and the commitment to making products that build trust from day one. Every empanada, every empanadilla and every pastry we make reflects the work of a team committed to quality, innovation and the pride of helping to share the culinary richness of Galicia.

Over the years, our company has grown by adopting new technologies, optimising processes and expanding its product range, without compromising its respect for raw materials.

We are part of Grupo Mencer, a social economy business group committed to a model in which manufacturing excellence and commitment to people go hand in hand. Our activity creates inclusive employment and shows that social responsibility can be a natural part of a competitive business.

Today we move forward with the same philosophy that inspired our first steps: making products that proudly represent the culinary tradition of Galicia and live up to the trust our customers place in us.
